Colorful Colorado

Finally to bring the blog semi-up-to-date, here are some pictures from our trip to Colorado over the Memorial Day Weekend. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them...there will be more to come from the professional camera too!

My neice, Layla, and her mom, Ginger.

What it looks like if you're Josh and sleeping in...Bobbi never gets to sleep in...
My mom at her very large computer monitor.
Aubrey...My cousin's boyfriend's daughter.
My cousin, Brittany. You can't tell from this angle, but she's 8 months pregnant.
Aubrey putting on her new shoes to show them off...arent't they cute!

Aubrey trying to feed Josh a piece of her slimey chocolate cake...

Aubrey playing with the noise maker fire crackers...she threw most of them in the water.

A family portrait...Aubrey, Richard, and Brittany.

Kansas City Royals Win

In early May, Josh and I were lucky enough to have great seats to a Royals game. We seated in Section 122, Row M, Seats 7 &8. Here are some pictures I took from that area. This is the third game in 2 years that Josh and I have attended where the Royals won. It was an awesome game with great plays. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the game.
This was a bad miss on an attempted suicide squeeze.
The second squeeze was better and scored this run.
Mark Teahen is one of my favorite players and this was a great hit.
So close to a double play...too bad his throw to First was off.

This was an easy double.

GOM 2009

I'm a little behind on postings. So, travel back in time with me to March 2009. Every year Holmeswood Baptist Church participates in Girls On Mission at Windermere near Roach, Missouri. Girls on Mission is an overnight stay in the Lake of the Ozarks where missionaries come and share their experiences.
Every year there is a different theme that helps show the girls ways to share their faith and be a beacon for Christ. This year's theme was "I am the Light". Here are some pictures of our girls enjoying their time.

The happy bunch - Bright-eyed & Bushy-tailed.

So early, it's dark outside!

Those shades were made for standing behind!

Our annual bonfire always brings tears to our eyes...and sticky marshmellows to our clothes and shoes!

Because I'm so bright, the girls need shades!
